Board-Certified North Andover Orthodontist
Meet Dr. Neil Flückiger

"Dr. Neil", as he's known to his patients, grew up in Bedford, MA. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science. Dr. Neil then graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Following dental school, he practiced as a general dentist for several years before specializing in orthodontics.
Dr. Neil completed his orthodontic residency at Tufts University and has since gone through the rigorous testing process to distinguish himself as a board-certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontists.
What Does a North Andover Orthodontist Do?
A North Andover orthodontist is a dental specialist who diagnoses, prevents, and corrects misaligned teeth and jaws. After dental school, orthodontists complete 2-3 additional years of specialty residency focused exclusively on tooth movement, bite correction, and facial development.
At New England Orthodontic Specialists, we serve North Andover families and Andover orthodontics patients from our nearby north shore offices in Topsfield and Beverly. Both locations sit just a short drive from town, making it simple for local families to access specialty care without a long commute.
This extra training sets orthodontists apart from general dentists. While your family dentist handles cleanings, fillings, and overall oral health, an orthodontist focuses specifically on creating properly aligned bites and beautiful smiles. It's a specialized skill that requires years of dedicated study after earning a dental degree.
Dr. Neil Flückiger and Dr. Diana Esshaki bring this specialized expertise to families throughout North Andover, Andover, and the wider Merrimack Valley. Both are board-certified orthodontists and Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. They're also active members of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and the American Dental Association (ADA).
Your whole family can find the right treatment here. We offer Invisalign clear aligners, clear braces, and metal braces for kids, teens, and adults. Whether you're considering early treatment for your child or finally getting the smile you've always wanted, our orthodontic specialists create a custom orthodontic treatment plan designed around your specific needs. Patients from North Andover typically visit our Topsfield or Beverly offices, both an easy drive from town.
Benefits of Choosing a Local North Andover Orthodontist
Living in North Andover, Andover, or the surrounding Merrimack Valley means you deserve quality orthodontic care close to home. Here's why local matters:
Easy Access for Busy Families Orthodontic treatment involves regular check-ins over many months. Having an orthodontist near North Andover, with our north shore offices in Topsfield, Hamilton, Beverly, Salem, and Lynn, means less time in the car and easier scheduling around school, work, and activities. We work hard to keep appointments quick and predictable so families can get back to their day.
Complete Treatment Options in One Place. From your first visit through your final retainer fitting, everything happens under one roof. We treat your whole family with Invisalign clear aligners, clear braces, and metal braces. No referrals needed.
Modern Technology That Makes Treatment Comfortable Digital scanning has replaced the messy impressions of the past. Our digital imaging creates precise 3D models of your teeth in minutes. It's faster, more accurate, and much more comfortable.
Beyond technology, treatment plans at our practice are built around your life. A North Andover orthodontist understands your community, and Dr. Neil and Dr. Diana take time to learn about your goals, your schedule, and your lifestyle before recommending care. Your custom orthodontic treatment plan reflects what matters to you. That same personal approach extends to ongoing support: questions between appointments, a quick adjustment, or a wire poke after dinner are all easy to handle when our Topsfield and Beverly offices are just down the road. Our team is here for you throughout your time with us.
Long-Term Health Benefits Properly aligned teeth are easier to brush and floss, which lowers your risk of cavities and gum disease over a lifetime. A corrected bite can also prevent jaw pain, headaches, and uneven wear on your enamel, protecting your investment in your smile for decades to come.
