Dr. Diana Esshaki grew up in Brookline, MA. Dr. Diana earned her B.A. from Boston University in Classical Civilization and Biology. She received her Master of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts, and her D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. For four years, Dr. Diana served on the faculty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she supervised the training of dental students in oral health care management of the medically complex patient population. She also maintained private practice as a general dentist in the financial district of Boston before pursuing specialty training in orthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
During her many years at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, she was honored to be the recipient of many awards including the Dr. Norman H. Diamond Prize for excellence in orthodontics, the Anthony Gianelly Award in orthodontics, the Furman Scholarship for academic achievement in orthodontics, the Dr. Edward G. Austin Endowed Scholarship for postgraduate dental community outreach, the Dr. Frank Susi Endowed Prize Fund for Future Faculty Promise and Distinction, the American Academy of Oral Medicine Certificate of Merit and Award, and The Tufts University Dr. William W. and Usha N. Seller Scholarship for academic achievement.
Dr. Diana is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontics, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, among many other memberships. Dr. Diana is also a board certified orthodontist and a proud member of the American Board of Orthodontics.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Diana enjoys reading, going to the gym, traveling and spending time with her wonderful family.
